Ashley Bader, bodybuilder and owner of Clean Eatz, wants you to know: “You don’t have to go to the gym to eat here. Don’t be scared.” Clean Eatz is designed for everyone: singles, couples, families, and friends. Whether you’re looking for a quick grab-and-go option for a mid-week meal or a comprehensive weekly meal plan to make each meal of your week easy, healthy, and nutritious, Clean Eatz has got you covered. “We don’t want people to think about what we offer as a diet. We’re all on a health journey, and making slow changes makes all the difference. One place you can start your health journey is food. We have healthy, quick, convenient, and affordable meals for everyone,” Ashley says.

As a franchise, Clean Eatz focuses on providing healthy and nutritious meals without compromising on taste. Each week, you’ll find sumptuous offerings like burgers, spaghetti and meatballs, and flatbreads that cater to specific dietary preferences, such as keto, low-carb, or extra protein. By promoting clean eating through the use of fresh, whole ingredients, Clean Eatz ensures that its menu is both delicious and guilt-free.

Years ago at a bodybuilding show, Ashley’s boyfriend attended an Expo and learned about the Clean Eatz franchise. The two quickly realized that there was nothing like it in Columbus. “He kept referring to it as ‘lightning in a bottle,’” she recalled. Two weeks later, they were on a plane to North Carolina to explore the possibility of bringing Clean Eatz to Columbus. Six years ago, they opened one of the first ten stores in the United States, located in Columbus’s Old Town community. “It’s a great location. We especially enjoy the events that are always happening here. Recently, we had Relay for Life. There’s always holiday events and weddings and baby showers at the Town Hall,” Ashley says.
“[Back when we first opened], there weren’t many stores yet, and so we just based a lot of what we did on what we believed in,” she reminisced. It was a bit of a leap of faith, but the model and the approach made sense to Ashley, and she wanted to provide a dynamic healthy restaurant and meal service to the community. Now, there are more than 70 stores across the country.

Ashley is a generous citizen of Columbus, and she believes in helping others. Providing a convenient option for her neighbors to nourish themselves is another way she is taking care of the community.
Six years later, Clean Eatz is going strong. Many regulars place their orders online on Tuesday and pick up their meals for the week on Sunday. They enjoy the convenience of ready-to-eat, nutritious food with the assurance of reasonable portion sizes and no additives. Each option provides information on general macros, and customers can select options that work best for them. Since Clean Eatz also provides a children’s menu, everyone in the family can choose what they want.

For those interested in the meal plan pick-up option, customers will appreciate that no subscription is required. That means you can change your number of requested meals from week to week. If you’re going out of town, you don’t have to remember to pause anything. Clean Eatz puts the upcoming week’s menu online on Tuesday. You place your order and swing by the shop to pick up your prepared meals on Sunday: healthy, simple, and convenient. If a meal plan is not the right option for you, there are always a variety of grab-and-go options available in the store as well.

Clean Eatz is open Monday-Friday from 11 am until 7 pm and Saturday from 11 am until 3 pm and now also open on Sundays. If you’re interested in ordering meals for pick-up, visit their website at www.cleaneatz.com and use the find location option.
